Review from Fatea

Minnie and I received a wonderful review from Fatea after our joint headline show at Big Comfy Bookshop in Coventry.

Robert Lane kicked off the evening with a warmth that only an accomplished performer can achieve. Lyrically up there with some of the best young artists this country has to offer and a very fine guitarist, his performance swung from humour to family, 12-bar blues to politics, and from scientific innovation to a song considered "too dark for radio".

Thanks to John Reed and Fatea for the review

On Wednesday night it was the first gig of my joint headline tour with Minnie Birch and it was pretty much perfect. Great venue with a sold out crowd of music fans listening to our songs and stories and singing along loud and proud. I love a venue where people can bring their own fish and chips too, more places should allow that! Thanks to Chris Live at Thornsett Road and Southy Taproom for having us.

Next stop Coventry on Friday.
